Ask your notes anything
Stuck on a paragraph? Ask GoCram. It answers using your own documents and shows you where in your notes the answer comes from, so you can check it.
How it works
- 1
Upload your notes
One document or the whole course.
- 2
Ask a question
In your own words, the way you would ask a teacher.
- 3
Check the source
Every answer points to the part of your notes it is based on.
Answers grounded in your documents
General chatbots answer from whatever they learned online and sometimes make things up. GoCram answers from your notes and cites them, so you can trust what you study.
A teacher for every section
Besides the chat, each section of your notes gets a step-by-step explanation with examples, written for someone seeing the topic for the first time.
Study with friends or a class
Share a collection with a study group or a class, and everyone can review the same flashcards, tests and explanations.
Frequently asked questions
Does it make things up?
It is instructed to answer only from your documents and to show the source. If the answer is not in your notes, it says so.
Can teachers use it?
Yes: teachers can create a class, share material and assign work to students.
Is GoCram really free?
Yes. Every study tool is free, with no paywall and no "premium" limits hidden behind an upgrade button.
What can I upload?
PDFs (including scanned ones, which are read with OCR), Word documents, slides exported to PDF and audio recordings of lectures, which are transcribed first.
Does it work in English?
Yes. GoCram writes your flashcards, tests, summaries and audio in the language of your notes, so English notes get English study material.
What happens to my notes?
They are processed on our own servers in the EU by our own AI models. Your notes are not sent to third-party AI services and are never shared unless you choose to.
